About

Why work with me?

As founder of The People & Culture Link, I am passionate about providing straight talking HR advice that makes a difference to individuals, businesses and the community. I do this through a distinct focus on adaptive HR outcomes and my understanding of business requirements along with risk mitigation.

Hugely professional, with a dose of fun, my strength lies in building relationships to become your trusted HR partner, understand your business and deliver outstanding results. I am highly skilled at finding innovative people orientated solutions, carefully balanced with the commercial reality.

The People & Culture Link was founded after becoming frustrated that HR was becoming too complex and challenging rather than flexible and supporting the business and employees. HR isn’t a one size fits all business, so businesses can benefit from engaging me to provide realistic and flexible solutions based on their needs.

What is an adaptive HR model?

Flexibility: Adaptive HR recognises the need for HR practices and processes to be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances. It emphasises the ability to adjust HR strategies, policies, and procedures in response to evolving business needs and market dynamics.

Responsiveness: Adaptive HR focuses on the HR function’s ability to respond quickly and effectively to the needs of the organisation and its employees. It emphasises timely and proactive support, addressing issues and challenges promptly, and providing solutions that meet the changing demands of the workforce.

Continuous Improvement: Adaptive HR promotes a culture of continuous improvement within the HR function. It encourages HR professionals to seek out opportunities for learning and development, experiment with new approaches, and constantly refine HR practices to enhance their effectiveness and impact.

Collaboration: Adaptive HR recognises the importance of collaboration and cross-functional cooperation. It emphasises the need for HR professionals to work closely with other departments and stakeholders to understand their needs, align HR initiatives with organisational goals, and foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork.

Adaptability: Adaptive HR involves cultivating an adaptable mindset among HR professionals. It encourages them to embrace change, be open to new ideas and approaches, and be willing to challenge traditional HR practices in order to drive innovation and improvement.

Adaptive HR emphasises the need for HR to be agile, responsive, and proactive in supporting the organisation’s goals and addressing the evolving needs of the workforce.
