Can HR Consulting help your business?

Can HR Consulting help your business?

Well – here we are! My first blog post. Exciting times and it’s certainly got my brain thinking.

I thought that I would start off with my ‘why’ I have started my consultancy and what we can do to help you.

I believe that every person deserves to work in an environment that is supportive, inclusive and empowering. Some organisations struggle with creating such a culture. Particularly with the many changes that have taken place over the last few years. I want to change that by building a people & culture focused consultancy that partners with business to put their employees first while also understanding the business goals and challenges. By working with organisations to cultivate a positive and healthy workplace culture, I hope to not only improve the lives of employees, but also increase productivity, retention and overall success for the organisation. I am passionate about creating positive change in the workplace and I believe that by focusing on people and culture, we can make a significant impact.”

As times have changed quite drastically over the last three years, we are also seeing significant change in the workplace. Employees are more aware of flexibility, working from home and there are so many jobs available at the moment, that people are leaving as quick as they start!

This can lead to inhouse teams, or small-medium size business, being quite overwhelmed with workload, managing expectations as well as trying to keep up with day to day changes in legislation. While you may have a dedicated HR team, there are times where you may need additional support to navigate complex matters or need to deep dive into culture.

I won’t take up all your time now, but below are some of the key focus areas that I will be partnering with organisations on.

  • Culture Assessment: do you know what your current workplace culture is? I mean do you really know?
  • Workplace Psychosocial Hazard Assessment: identify and manage your risks to ensure compliance with state and federal legislation.
  • Talent Management: Develop strategies for attracting, retaining and developing talent. Performance management, career development and succession planning. Talent management is a great pro-active tool when used well.
  • Workplace Investigations: Conduct thorough and unbiased investigations into workplace complaints, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation and other workplace conduct.
  • Organisational Design & Change Leadership: Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for organisational development including change management, team building and leadership development.
  • Diversity, Inclusion & Community Engagement: We can help you develop a diversity & inclusion strategy as well as advise on forging meaningful connections with key stakeholders.

Of course this list isn’t all of the areas I can assist with, so please feel free to contact me if there is anything you’d like to discuss more of.
